Who is Mooke Micheaux?

Mooke Micheaux is an Atlanta based portrait photographer. Raised in Queens New York and an Air Force veteran, Mooke has had an interesting story to say the least. Mooke best describes his work as “visual poetry”. Mooke specializes in capturing the beauty and culture of Black people, with a focus on portraying Black women in a regal and empowering light. Mooke aims to create images that reflect their dignity, strength, and individuality. He is passionate about using photography to challenge perceptions and celebrate the richness of Black culture.
